Shoulders/Abs
This workout wasn’t too bad. I saved the cardio for afterwards, because I wanted to get the lifting portion done first. I did take my time with it, which I feel like happens every Shoulder day. However, it got me thinking about what I want to do next and future goals.
One thing I want to focus on this year is mobility and improving any imbalances. So, I thought about a future workout split with a day of full body rehab exercises. Sort of like the schedule of this guide but instead of a Circuit/Metcon workout, a full body mobility workout. As of right now, I’m thinking about buying a program from the Prehab Guys, either the Posture [P]Rehab Program and [P]Rehab At Home. It’s all still up in the air, but it’s an idea.
Anyways, back to the workout. There were Banded Face Pulls listed, and I substituted those for Banded Pull Aparts. I try to really take my time with these, which definitely makes me feel a burn. There were also Bear Crawl Shoulder Taps, and I prefer that variation compared to standard shoulder taps. Also, I really don’t like Alternating Side Planks. No thank you.
It said to do 25 minutes of cardio, but I ended up doing a little over 30. It was mainly because I was watching a Youtube video that was 30 minutes, otherwise I would’ve stuck with 25. As per usual, I just walked the whole time.
